About Us

Syvros is a village in the prefecture of Lefkada and it is 32 km from the city of Lefkada.
It is built on the slope formed between the mountains of Stavrot and Elati. It has very rich vegetation, since it has the privilege of streams and underground waters passing through it, which form many springs along their way. The view offered towards the plain and the bay of Vasiliki, in the south of the island, is amazing.
The village is very old, as sources mention it in the early 1600s, so its construction goes even further back
The green landscape that surrounds it is dominated by olive trees, cypress trees and plane trees. The place has a lot of water, which justifies the existence of the most watermills in Lefkada, 24 in total.
In the village you will find traditional stone houses, olive trees, mulberry trees, cypresses and centuries-old plane trees, wonderful churches of the 17th century, such as Agios Nikolaos,
they are a characteristic feature of Heptanisian church building and all of them still function to this day.
The rapidly changing images are awe-inspiring. The tranquility of the landscape, the murmur of the water, the plane trees that almost touch the sky, the view of the Vasiliki bay captivate you.
The spring of Kerasia, a real fairyland, with a stone spring and a natural small beautiful catfish, which forms a pond. With the ancient path, you approach the neighboring village of Vournikas. From Kerasia started the large network of 24 watermills of the village that went down to the South.
Karouha Cave: myths and traditions surround its existence. Perhaps the composition of the rocks that make up the mountain is the explanation…

Rematia tis Dafni: A picturesque single track next to the road takes you there in just a few minutes. You are in a heavenly landscape, and you need to move left and right to face the sky. The only sound that can be heard is the echo of your steps on the dried plane leaves. And then the water music
Since the summer of 2016, a walking route has been inaugurated that connects the sources of three villages in southern Lefkada: Syvros, Vournikas and Agios Ilias

There are 2 furnished ground floors residences at the disposal of our guests, with a total capacity of 11 people, of which the Wisteria  can accomodate 7 and the Bougainvillea  can acommodate 4.
The lodges, fully respect the natural environment as the architectural design is perfectly harmonized with the local style as on the exterior of the accommodations as well as on the inside, while
at the same time, special emphasis has been placed on highlighting the natural
landscape as well as minimal interference with the natural relief.
It is worth noting that the name of the accommodation is not
by chance, as in the summer months the area is filled with
fireflies, which are often found inside homes , as a result of which they arouse the interest and curiosity of travelers.
The location is ideal as the residences are only a few kilometers away from Lefkada town and a stone’s throw from Vasiliki resort and Egremni beach.
Additionally, they are centrally located, between all the
sights of Lefkada and the most beautiful and busiest
beaches of the island in order to offer its visitors a special holiday experience, combining moments of rest with relaxation and enjoyment
